Journalist competition

The Journalist Award will honour online or print journalists in the European Union, Iceland and Norway who, through their work, contribute to public awareness of poverty and social exclusion in the European Union.
This section will soon offer you more information about the competition, including members of the jury, prizes, etc. Later in the year it will display the articles and biogs of winning journalists.

Art Exhibition

The aim of the 2010 European Year Art Exhibition on the theme of ‘Building together a Society for All’ is to involve people experiencing poverty through meetings and exchanges with artists.
Their inspiration will lead to the creation of artworks on the theme of poverty and social exclusion. A selection of those artworks will be exposed in the capital of the European Union towards the end of the year.
